Community & Workforce Development

The Division of Community and Workforce Development (CWD) provides a program of non-credit continuing education to respond to the training and lifelong learning needs of our service area.


The Vice Chancellor for this division brings direction and guidance to several community and economic development related initiatives such as: Adult Literacy, Community Education, Corporate Training, Small Business Development, Workforce Solutions, and Youth Services initiatives.

Additionally, leadership is provided to the University's Office of Grants and Sponsored Programs as well as with the SUSLA Community Development Corporation (CDC). With a committed and supportive staff, this division will achieve maximum effectiveness in providing services to our customer base.
